I create delicate, wearable pieces using a combination of crystal and glass beads, seed beads, and beaded jewellery techniques that bring colour, sparkle, and personality to every item.
A special part of my work is hand engraving many of my crystal and glass beads by using a dentist drill-style micro motor and specialist burrs. This adds unique, permanent patterns and texture directly into the surface of each bead, making every piece truly one-of-a-kind.
I also create pendants made from large flat-backed glass in various colours, which are hand engraved with intricate patterns inspired by nature—including delicate flowers, leaves, and other organic designs that bring the beauty of the natural world into wearable art.
Beaded jewellery is intricate and time consuming to make - delicate too so not suitable for everyday wear. I have a small selection of beaded chokers, earrings and dress rings that you may encounter at one of the local craft fairs in Waltham Forest, further afield or at the Walthamstow Arts Trail that is held once a year. However, for larger pieces I do not to sell them unless I'm commissioned to do so, as they take a long time to make. I tend to gift ones I've made for practice, for friends and family only.
I work with high-quality, hyperallergenic materials because I understand what it's like to have sensitive skin. All my items are pre-tested to ensure they're safe for anyone with metal allergies. I use 314L or 304 surgical stainless steel, sterling silver, gold and silver plate—all trusted, skin-safe options that won't irritate or cause reactions.
Each piece is handmade with attention to detail, whether it's a simple beaded bracelet, an elegant necklace, a pair of eye-catching earrings, or a hand-engraved glass pendant. The crystal and glass beads add brightness and reflection, while the tiny seed beads create intricate patterns and texture. The engraved beads and nature-inspired pendants add a special artistic touch that makes each piece unique.
